Dr. Casey Gaskins

Audiologist

Dr. Casey Gaskins is an audiologist at our Waldorf, MD hearing center. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Hearing and Speech Sciences, a minor in Spanish, and a Doctorate of Audiology during undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Gaskins is a licensed audiologist in the State of Maryland and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Dr. Gaskins obtained clinical and research expertise during her externship at the University of Miami Ear Institute and her internship at Advanced Bionics, where she investigated strategies to improve localization in bilateral cochlear-implant users. She prides herself on incorporating her clinical and research knowledge to deliver evidence-based patient-centered care to individuals of all ages. 

Born and raised in Charles County, Dr. Gaskins returned to her hometown eager to serve the hearing and balance needs of the greater community of Southern Maryland. She leads every appointment with a sound understanding and warm approach, to create an inviting environment where patients feel seen and heard and to improve the quality of life for patients and family members. Her audiologic specialties include cochlear implant assessment and programming, vestibular testing and rehabilitation, aural rehabilitation via hearing aids and amplification systems, pediatric and adult audiologic testing, and tinnitus assessment and management. 

In her spare time, Dr. Gaskins loves to travel with friends and family, attend museums, plays and live music events, paint, cook, and read a good book.
